This is several different flavors of awesome. A sexy British spy who can kick bad guy butt six ways from Sunday? A "Jane Bond," if you will? What's not to love? But then again, I knew I'd love this as soon as I saw the concept sketches for Penny. More, more, more!

I like to think he gave himself both the doctorate and name. His real name? Mortimer Murderplexicus.

Meta-rrific!

With a name like "Killswitch," could he have been anything other than a diabolical super-villain? Okay, maybe an electrician.

I like that pinup! If last week's was Maurice Binder-esque, this week's has a little Steranko-ish flavor.

Also, HOLY SNAP! Did Penny kick a dude in the head in an ELEVATOR? Do you know how hard that is?

Well, if anyone can annihilate a secret evil hideout located under a world-famous building like the Monte Carlo Casino, it's Penny Dreadful. Looking forward to things going KABOOM!

See, this is why I could never be a crimefighter. You can't even go on vacation without getting caught up in an evil plan, only you tend to be sans all your crimefighting gear (unless it all comes from one source, like a special suit or mystical device, in which case you actually do have it, but everyone thought you were being paranoid and convinced you to leave it in your room).

Ok, the actual reason is I don't want to be shot at, but that would be my other reason.

As an accountant, I actually think herr doctor's idea is quite good and would be more financially viable than the average evil scheme. As good as the comic is, you should consider switching careers to villainy full time.
