>PHEW<
Things have been busy around here at Actionopolis. Not only are we working overtime, putting all the finishing touches on The Hard Ones, but we’re also elbow deep in creating a slew of new comics.
And tonight, in the grand Action Age tradition, we’re showing off artwork from several of those upcoming projects that, if you’re not careful, might just knock your socks right outta those sneakers.
First up is Carl Yonder’s amazing cover to an all new Danger Ace adventure headed your way this November, The Madness in Madrid. And let us just say, Action Agents, that you’ve never seen anything like the villains in this one.

We teased about this before, but tonight we’ll make it offical – Impossible! is returning later this year, with story by ”Mad” Chad Bowers, covers by Chris “The Guy” Nye, and stunning interiors by one of our newest AA recruits, Adrian Rodriguez. Here’s page 3 where a guy in a jet-pack gets punched in the face.

And, oh why not? Let’s make one more announcement.
Coming in Q1, 2010 — BIG ‘UN.

A southern-flavored Kaiju romp by Chad Bowers and artist Fred Guillen!
Now, some might say, “Guys, with The Hard Ones, Solomon Stone, Monster Plus, Woman of A.C.T.I.O.N., Impossible! and Danger Ace, there’s only so much awesome one medium can stand!” Well, to you, sirs and madams, we ask “Haven’t you been listening?
This is the Action Age of Comics… and we’re just getting started!

I call these people cowards and they deserved to be shunned. When you pile awesome on top of awesome, the end result? MORE AWESOME.
Sweet looking stuff coming down the pipe guys!

More Impossible and Danger Ace! And a Kaiju-ish series? Tell me your working on hardcopy versions of this stuff, too. This is the kind of stuff my comic boxes are missing.

As Nick Cave once said, in a cooler manner than than any of the countless people whom said it before him; bring it on.
